Extra R150m injected into Daybreak Foods

Daybreak Foods will be receiving an additional R150 million from the Public Investment Corporation. This will bring the state asset manager's financial assistance to the struggling poultry producer to R1.7 billion. It earlier released R400 million to protect the firm from liquidation, allowing the business rescue process to commence last month.
